In hindsight, 2013 kickstarted an unfortunate trend of Plains activity clustering within a short 1-2 week window, outside of which very little happened. Although May 15-31 was unrelentingly active, and I caught a couple of the best storms, the tendency for its most ferocious tornadoes to ravage populated areas near Oklahoma City more days than not was both tragic for the public and unfortunate from a chasing perspective.
